Twelve years as a corporate associate and counsel at Boston mid-market firms, focused on buy-side and sell-side M&A and commercial contracting for technology and manufacturing clients. Became the person on the deal team responsible for VDR contract review — and built Clauseflint to solve the throughput problem she encountered on every engagement.
Engineering Lead
Six years building document parsing and structured-extraction pipelines at a legal information services company — specifically the work of extracting structured data from non-standardized legal documents that don't conform to a predictable schema. The clause-extraction engine at the core of Clauseflint is his. Joined at founding in early 2025.
Legal Advisor
Twenty-plus years as an M&A partner at a mid-size New England firm, representing buyers and sellers in the middle market — transactions where every clause in the disclosure schedules matters and there is no team of associates to absorb the VDR volume. Advises Clauseflint on review methodology, accuracy calibration, and what experienced deal counsel actually needs from a flag report versus what sounds useful in a demo.
How We Work
Clause extraction is not glamorous. Doing it with precision, at scale, with full auditability is a craft problem. We're solving a craft problem.
Every engagement teaches us something. A client's question about a clause type we haven't covered goes into the methodology backlog, not into a polite non-answer.
Three people means decisions get made quickly and every engagement has direct attention. We'd rather grow slowly and do excellent work than scale and produce adequate work.
